Meet Information
Only Marshall County and City Schools are allowed to enter this meet.
Location: Arab City Park, Arab Alabama
City Park Dr NE
Arab, AL 35016
Directions: Traveling toward Arab from Guntersville on Hwy 69 South, turn left onto Arad Thompson Road. (Arad Thompson Road is approximately 10 miles from Guntersville Rec Center). Take Right at 4 way stop onto Shoal Creek Trail. Then take next Left onto City Park Drive NE and enter Arab City Park.
Cost: $40 per team, per race (if you have a team in each race, the cost will be $160.00). $10.00 per individual.
7th-9th grade runners may run in the 2 mile or the 5K race.
10th-12th grade runners must run in the 5K race.
Please Register all Varsity and JV runners that will be running in the meet.
Meet Schedule:
Packet Pickup/Warmups- 12:00-12:45 p.m.
JV Girls 2 mile- 1:00 p.m.
JV Boys 2 mile- 1:30 p.m.
Varsity Girls 5K- 2:00 p.m.
Varsity Boys 5 K- 2:30 p.m.
Awards- 3:15 p.m.
Awards Ceremony:
A trophy will be awarded to the 1st place team in each race. The top 5 finishers in each race will be awarded an All County t-shirt. The top 10 finishers in each race will be awarded a medal.
Concessions:
Concessions will be sold.
T-Shirts:
Meet t-shirts will be sold for $15.00
Parking:
Please park in the paved parking lots near the walking trail, ball fields, swimming pool or tennis courts.
Admission:
Free Admission for spectators
Start line location:
The start line will be located in the open field north of the horse arena. The finish line will be located in the same general area.
