Entry deadline is Wednesday night at 11:59.
We are happy to be hosting the 1A and 2A Section 3 track meets at the Southpark Track Complex in Falkville. There will be an entry fee of $100 per team. (total of $200 for boys and girls teams- this is set by AHSAA) Entry fee is $20 per individual for four or less entries. Please make 1A checks payable to Cold Springs High School and 2A checks to Falkville High School. . We will be giving ribbons to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers and trophies to the 1st and 2nd place teams. Concession stand will be open. There are limited bleachers, so please encourage spectators to bring chairs. There will be plenty of room to set up tents. Spectator admission will be $5.
Entries for the section meet are listed on AlabamaRunners.com. Entry deadline can be found at this website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us or Coach Campbell at Cold Springs High School. Form 52 must also be turned in at the meet. Late entries will not be accepted. No telephone entries will be accepted. We will be weighing throwing implements and pole vaulters.
Our track complex is located just off of Interstate 65. Traveling north, you will take Exit 322 and turn left back over the interstate. Turn right onto Culver Road which is the 2nd road after crossing over the interstate. You will see the track on the right past Joe Summerford Park. Traveling south, you will take Exit 322 ad turn right at the top of the exit. Turn right onto Culver Road at the Southpark Sign.
Please read over the rules regarding competition from the AHSAA Spring Sports Book with your athletes. All rules regarding uniforms, jewelry, and artificial noisemakers will be enforced.
