Where: Beauregard High School, 7343 Al. Hwy 51 Opelika, AL. 36804


Entry: $ 5.00 per relay team. $ 2.00 per individual event. The maximum amount per gender team will be $ 90.00. Total amount for a school will be $ 180.00. The online entry may not express this. If questions, please contact Glenn Copeland at copeland.glenn@lee.k12.al.us.

Entry Method: Entries for all events are to be made through online system on
www.alabamarunners.com.

Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by 10:59 pm on Wednesday, March 15th. No additions or
changes. Substitutions can be made the day of the meet, but the names will remain the
same in the computer.

Scoring: Team scoring will be in accordance with NFHS rules. For seven or more teams
competing, 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 will be used.

Awards: Trophies will be given to the top 3 teams in both divisions. Ribbons will be given to the
3 in each event in each division.

Track: 8-lane all-weather; maximum of ¼“ spikes.

Concessions: Full concessions will be sold.

Meet Rules: The meet will be conducted under NFHS Rules and in accordance with the AHSAA
Spring Sports Book.

For the hurdles, a team must have at least 3 athletes to score.

For the Field Events, a team must have at least 3 athletes to score. Possibly can change to 2 athletes according to number of athletes in that event.

Tentative Field Event Schedule:
9:00 am Shot Put Girls, Javelin Boys, Long Jump Boys, High Jump Girls
10:30 am Discus Girls, Shot Put Boys, Triple Jump Boys, Pole Vault Girls and Boys
12:00 pm Javelin Girls, Discus Boys, Long Jump Girls, High Jump Boys
1:30 pm Triple Jump Girls

Heat Sheets: Heat sheets will be available on Friday, March 17th in the morning and at the meet.
Field events (except for vertical ones) will be conducted open-style and finals only.
The athlete will get 1 legal attempt and then must meet the requirements on the other attempts.
