Facility: The meet will be at Homewood High Schools Waldrop Stadium. It is not located at the high school. Samford Universitys track is next to our high school, but that is not the location of our meet. Waldrop Stadium is located at 266 Snow Drive, (Homewood, AL 35209) which is off of West Oxmoor.
Directions can be found at http://goo.gl/maps/H2zwh. All tents must be set up on the top rows of the stadium.

Entries and Scoring: Each team is allowed to enter six individuals in each event. Two relay teams may be entered. Only the top 3 individuals and the top relay team from each team can score. According to National Federation Rules, varsity athletes are limited to four events. All entries will be done through http://al.milesplit.us.

Entry Deadline: The entry deadline is10:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th. Entries must be completed at http://al.milesplit.us. There will be no additions or scratches after the deadline. Please be honest with your entry times, especially since the finals are on time. We want the most competitive heats possible!

Entry Fee: The entry fee is $5 per athlete and $5 per relay team. Checks should be payable to Homewood High School and should be brought to the meet or mailed prior to the meet.

Timing: There will be fully automatic timing done by Xpress Timing. There will be early event check-ins so that we can reseed and have full heats.

Finals Only: All running events will be finals on time. There will be three attempts and finals in field events. Running events will be seeded fast to slow, and field events will be worst to best (with finals after the last heat).

Awards: Trophies will be given to the top two teams in each division and medals will be given to the top three in each event.

Rules and Sanctioning: The National High School Federation rules will be in effect and the meet will be sanctioned for all AHSAA schools and for bordering states (TN, MS, FL, and GA).

Hospitality: There will be a hospitality room available for all coaches and officials.

All first attempts will be measured. The top 9 competitors will go to finals.

Additional Field Event Info:
The afternoon events scheduled for 1:00 may run behind. Should the morning events finish late then the afternoon event will begin 30 minutes after the completion of the morning event. This will allow officials a break and adequate time for athlete warm-ups.
POLE VAULT: Poles will be checked for labels and athletes weights will be verified by their
coaches.
