You can only run 10 in each division (Boys or Girls) in the sectional meet.Then only 10 can qualify for the state.
A school team must compete in at least three sanctioned meets prior to the
section meet.
Submit entries to al.milesplit.com a week before the section meet (October 28).
Class 1A-2A: Addison, Altamont, Carbon Hill, Cherokee, Cold Springs,Falkville, Fultondale, Gaston, Jefferson Christian, Marion Co., St. Bernard, Vincent
Class 3A: Carbon Hill, Clements, Elkmont, Hamilton, Hanceville,Holly Pond, Rogers, Vinemont, West Morgan, Winfield
1a-2a / 3a Section 3 The top 3 boys (10 members) teams and the top 3 girls(10 Members) teams in each classification (1A-2A and 3A) will qualify for the AHSAA State Championship meet.The top 6 individual finishers not on the roster of one of the qualifying teams will also qualify for the state meet.
Top 3 receive trophies
Top 10 individuals receive t-shirts in each division for All-Section
All coaches must bring the completed Form 41 to the section meet. A completed Form 41 will need to be submitted from all qualifying teams prior to leaving the meet site. You may fax or mail these.(256-287-2841)
Meet_Fees : $50 per team($100 if you have both boys and girls) $10 per individual if not enough for a team(It takes 5 people to score as a team)
