In 2009 and 2010 Roger was named a class 1A & 2A All-State XC runner. Roger was named MVP of his section in track for the second straight year. He went to state where here got second place in the 800 meter and third in the 1600 meter. Roger is team captain of the track team and has broke four school records in the 5K, 3200 meter, 1600 meter, and the 800 meter.
