BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Two Alabama State University track and field members have received weekly honors from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
Christopher Duncan and
Tia Rolle were named the SWAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Duncan, a senior from Ocoee, Fla., won the mile run with a time of 4:33.64 during action at the Tennessee State Invitational. He also finished third in the 800m run (1:58.20) and anchored the 4x400m relay team which placed fifth in 3:25.76.
Rolle, a sophomore from Nassau, Bahamas, had two top-three finishes at the Tennessee State Invitational. She was second in the 55m dash with a time of 7.12 and took third in the 200m dash in 25.29.
