The Hoover Track Foundation (HTF) is pleased to provide scholarships to local athletes who have excelled in track and field, as well as academics, and are students of good character. To be eligible, the applicant must be a graduating high school senior, participating in cross country and/or track and field in college, and be a current resident of either Jefferson or Shelby County, Alabama.
For 2010, the Hoover Track Foundation is pleased to award our first three scholarships to the following XC & Track athletes:
$1000.00 GulfSouth Scholarship to Hanna Sharrow of Hoover High School. Hanna will attend and compete for West Alabama University.
$500.00 Hoover Track Foundation General Scholarship to Layton Dorsett of Mountain Brook High School. Layton will attend and compete for Samford University.
$500.00 Hoover Track Foundation General Scholarship to Joey Bemowski of Mountain Brook High School. Joey will attend and compete for the University of Alabama Huntsville.
