BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama State University indoor track and field athletes Tokeyah Jones and Robert Gunn swept the Southwestern Athletic Conference Indoor Track Performers of the Week honor as announced by the league office.

Jones, a sophomore from Valley, Ala., captured a pair of individual titles at the Tennessee State Invitational on Feb. 5-6. She won the 55m dash in a time of 7.06 and followed that with the 200m crown in 25.17.

Gunn, a senior from Hueytown, Ala., shared the weekly honor on the men's side with Alabama A&M's Sean Delisser after claiming a pair of runner-up finishes at the TSU Invitational. He registered a 4:19.66 time in the mile run and finished the 5000m run in a time of 15:30.44.

The Hornet duo next competes with their teammates at the MTSU Valentine Invitational on Feb. 13 in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
