St. Bernard won the 1A/2A Boys team title with a score of 58 points. Senior Casey Guthery of St. Bernard
won the individual title with a time of 16:33.57. Andrew Sweeney also of St. Bernard placed second with
a time of 16:47.49. Cold Springs took home the red trophy with a score of 64 points, led by C.J. Lang who
placed third with a time of 16:49.24. In addition, Asher Desai of Altamont, Kagen Sutton of Hatton,
Hunter Wright of Westminster School at Oak Mountain, Will Woods of Marion County, James Dixon of
Altamont, Henry Pitts of Holy Spirit Catholic, Jared Stanley of Cold Springs, Mitchell Cook of Westbrook
Christian, Nicholas Ulrich of Athens Bible, Jake Ange of Whitesburg Christian, Marco Tona of St. Bernard,
and John Porterfield of Westminster School at Oak Mountain were recognized for placing in the Top 15
and All-State honors.
