At over 1500 runners, this is has become the largest early season meet in the state. The talent will definitely be there as the top two returning runners in the state will be there. In fact, there will be some serious depth in the rankings showing up here. We will be on site so be sure to check for photos, race video, and interviews!

GIRLS
The Mountain Brook girls are strong this year. How strong? Real strong. This race won't show their true potential -- it's going to be a bit dark for that. But the fight for 2nd - 5th is going to be TIGHT. To win as an individual, you might have to go sub 18. It's tough to tell....the course is pretty flat the the artificial light / darkness is a game changer.
HEAD TO HEAD: Amaris Tyynismaa vs. Mary Grace Strozier
Last year these two ran two seconds apart at this meet. By the state meet more than a minute separation existed. Tyynismaa went on to run 16:57 later in the season. Check out the runner comparison in out Head to Head!
