VIRTUAL MEET GIRLS

INDIVIDUALS

Kaitlin York is in position to defend her 3A title from last year. She'll do it.....and Ill get to take a breather in between her and number two. York ran 17:59 on the state course at Jesse Owens and hit 18:02 at sectionals. She is one of only 2 girls under 18 minutes this season. Allie Nelson and Tara Katz went head to head in Section 1 last week. Nelson came out on top out kicking Katz in the last 100 meters. With the long stretch to the finish in the state course, we might have the same outcome. Branyon and Billman are a toss-up. Billman ran 19:17 at Jesse Owens and 19:14 on a fast FSU course. Branyon ran 19:15 at section.

American Christian has 1st place locked up. Montgomery Academy and Bayside might fight each other for 2nd place. MA and Bayside are really close this year and only a few points will seperate them.
