AlabamaRunners How To Series: Request Setup for Online Entry

Note: This article, and all other articles assume a couple of things. They assume that you have established a username (registered) on the system and that you are logged in. If you haven't done that yet, go ahead and do it now.

With the partnership between MileSplit and the AHSAA, Online Entry is required for all sanctioned events this year.  If you have never used us before, here are the instruction to set up online entry for your meet.

The actual process of requesting online registration for your meet is as simple as a couple of clicks and filling out a form.

To begin, scroll down to the bottom of any MileSplit page and, under Resources, click on the link that says Online Registration. This will take you to a page that explains a little about the capabilities and costs of MileSplit online registration and provides a link to the request page for track meets or for cross country meets. The forms are different for track and cross country, so be sure to select the correct option.

Once you are at the form, simply fill out the information.

If your meet had online registration last year and you're keeping all the same events, entry limits, pricing structure, and billing information as last year, you can ask us to clone last year's meet. In the Clone This Meet Number box, simply copy the six-digit number from the url string of last year's meet page. That is your meet number.

If your meet is already on your state's calendar for this year but just doesn't yet have online registration set up for it, please fill in your meet name in the Meet Name box and add a note that the meet is already set up as meet number [your six-digit meet number].

When you're done completing the information for your meet, click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page. It may take a few days for the online registration for your meet to be set up, so please try to plan ahead as much as possible on requesting online registration for your meet.
