California Milesplit will feature complete coverage of the 2014 Mt. SAC Relays starting Friday. After Arcadia once again produced numerous elite performances, the stage is set for the Mt. SAC Relays to be a fine meet.
On Friday the relay action starts with invitational 4x800s and is quickly followed by the Brooks Mile boys and girls. The winners of the miles earn entry into the Brooks PR Meet in June in Seattle. La Costa Canyon's Emma Abrahamson, pictured below, will battle a strong field that features Sydney Badger of Centennial (NV). Another tight battles is expected after only .09 separated Abrahamson and Badger in the 3200 at Arcadia.
In the boys mile, the top three from Arcadia will square off again just six days. Ricky Faure of Wymong aims to complete a west coast sweep at Mt. SAC. Second and third place finishers Nathan rodriguez and Ellis Newton look to punch their tickets to Seattle.
